Spend a Day Behind the Chair With Me ✨

One-on-One Shadow Days inΒ Los Angeles

There's only so much you can learn from a screen.

At some point, you just need to be in the room β€” watching how a cut actually comes together, how the color gets formulated and applied, how the whole rhythm of a day flows when you're working clean, intentional, and unhurried.

That's what a shadow day with me is.

It's just you and me for the day at my LA salon, Sunday Morning Hair. You'll be right there beside me as I work with real clients β€” seeing the razor in motion, the O&M clean color process start to finish, and all the little behind-the-chair moments that make the difference but never make it into a tutorial.

No big group. No performance. Just an honest, up-close look at how I do what I do β€” and space for all your questions along the way.

This might be exactly what you need if you're...

  • A stylist who's newer behind the chair and craving real-world confidence.
  • Transitioning to O&M, clean color, or ammonia-free formulating and want to see it done in practice.
  • Working on your razor cutting and ready to level up your technique and your eye.
  • Building a more holistic, low-tox approach to your work and looking for a mentor who actually lives it.
  • Feeling a little stuck or burnt out and wanting to fall back in love with the craft by watching someone in their element.

You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to be curious and ready to soak it in. 🀍

What the day looks like

You'll shadow me through a real working day with clients, so you'll see the genuine flow β€” not a staged demo.

Throughout the day we'll talk through:

  • Razor cutting technique, sectioning, and how I read each head of hair.
  • O&M and clean color formulating, application, and toning.
  • How I run a calm, solo-stylist day behind the chair.
  • The consultation and client experience that keeps people coming back.
  • And anything you most want to learn β€” this day bends to your goals.

I'll keep it conversational and open the whole time. Ask me anything. That's what we're here for.

Here's how it works

First, we hop on a quick call. Before you book your day, I want to actually meet you. So the first step is a free 15–20 minuteΒ Google Meet call where we get to know each other, I learn what you're hoping to get out of the day, and I walk you through exactly what to expect and what to bring. It's also a chance for you to ask me anything before you commit.

I do this because a shadow day is so personal, and I want to make sure it's truly the right fit for both of us. If it feels like a yes, I'll send you everything you need to book your day. πŸ’›

Then, you book your shadow day. Once we've connected, you'll grab your spot on the calendar. I only take one shadow guest at a time so you get my full attention.

What to expect on the day

Plan to be with me for roughly 6-8 hours. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes β€” we're on our feet and moving.

Bring a notebook or your phone for notes, your favorite shears or razor if you'd like me to look at your tools, and an open, curious mindset.

This is observation and conversation rather than hands-on cutting β€” you'll be watching, asking, and learning, soaking up the how and the why behind everything.

Beverages, lunch and good energy are on me. β˜•

The Investment

Your shadow day is $500, which includes the full day shadowing me with real clients, a yummy lunch, all the video and photos you want to take, and all your questions answered along the way.
