I’ve been behind the chair for over 12 years. I run a home salon in Glendora and a second location in LA, and I specialize in clean ammonia-free color and razor cutting. I created The Sustainable Stylist because I lived everything inside it — the burnout, the undercharging, the fully booked schedule that somehow still left me stressed about money.
I didn’t find my way out through a mentor or a magic moment. I found it slowly — through trial and error, honest self-examination, and eventually building something completely different from the model I inherited.
